The cross-country course at
this year's Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials will be about 600m
shorter, and run over a reduced time of approximately 10 mins and 30

changes to their tests for 2009 affiliated competitions. 6 NEW
tests are being introduced:
Introductory B (short arena),
Introductory Freestyle (short arena), Prelim freestyle (long or short
arena at discretion of organiser)
Tests to be withdrawn from
affiliated competitions from 1 January 2009 are: Prelim 17,
Novice 32, Novice 33, Advanced Medium 86
